Understanding your subscription, invoices, and how to manage your plan.
- Go to Dashboard → Account Settings → Billing
- You'll see:
- Current plan name and price
- Billing cycle (monthly/annual)
- Next billing date
- Payment method on file

Annual billing saves 2 months (pay for 10, get 12).
Upgrade anytime to get more resources instantly.
- Go to Account Settings → Billing
- Click Change Plan
- Select your new plan
- Confirm the upgrade
- Immediate: New resource limits apply instantly
- Billing: You're charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing cycle
- No downtime: Your store continues running normally
If you're on Starter ($29/mo) and upgrade to Professional ($79/mo) halfway through your billing cycle:
- You've already paid $29 for the month
- You'll be charged ~$25 (half month of the $50 difference)
- Next month you'll be charged the full $79
You can downgrade if you need fewer resources.
- Go to Account Settings → Billing
- Click Change Plan
- Select the lower plan
- Confirm the downgrade
Before downgrading, verify your current usage in Dashboard → Resource Usage:

If you exceed the new plan's limits:
- Disk: Reduce usage before downgrading
- Staging: Delete extra staging environments first
- Downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle
- You keep your current plan's resources until then
- No refunds for unused time on higher plan
- Go to Account Settings → Billing
- Click View Invoices or Billing History
- See all past invoices with status
Each invoice shows:
- Invoice number and date
- Billing period
- Plan and amount
- Payment status (Paid, Open, Failed)
- Download link (PDF)
Click the Download PDF button next to any invoice for your records or accounting.
- Go to Account Settings → Billing
- Click Manage Payment Methods
- Add a new card or update existing
- Set as default if adding a new card
- Visa
- Mastercard
- American Express
- Discover
We use Stripe for secure payment processing. We never store your full card number.
If a payment fails:
- First attempt fails: We'll email you immediately
- Retry in 3 days: Stripe automatically retries
- Still failing: Update your payment method to avoid service interruption
- After 7 days: Your store may be suspended
To avoid issues:
- Ensure your card isn't expired
- Check that you have sufficient funds/credit
- Update payment info if you get a new card
- Go to Account Settings → Billing
- Click Cancel Subscription
- Select a reason (helps us improve)
- Confirm cancellation

Download your data:
- Go to Dashboard → Backups
- Click Download Backup to get your files and database
- Save this somewhere safe
Export important data:
- WooCommerce → Products → Export
- WooCommerce → Orders → Export
- Users → Export (if using a plugin)
If you cancelled but change your mind:
Before billing period ends:
- Go to Account Settings → Billing
- Click Reactivate Subscription
- No interruption to service
After store is suspended:
- Contact support@shophosting.io
- If within 30 days, we can restore your data
- After 30 days, data is gone permanently
You're billed on the same day each month that you signed up. For example, if you signed up on January 15th, you'll be billed on the 15th of each month.
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new customers. After that, we don't provide refunds for unused time, but you can cancel anytime to stop future charges.

No, there are no setup fees. You only pay your monthly (or annual) subscription.
We don't offer pausing, but you can:
- Downgrade to Starter to reduce costs
- Cancel and reactivate within 30 days (data preserved)
Download any invoice as PDF from Account Settings → Billing → View Invoices.
For billing questions:
